Silicon – the new project from New Zealand via Hawaii multi-instrumentalist Kody Nielson – today releases a video for debut single God Emoji, directed by Sam Peacocke. Watch the video HERE.
Shot in his native Auckland, the God Emoji video finds Nielson’s multi-dimensional sounds brought to life by animatronic personalities as their creator quietly contemplates amidst the digitised sonic backdrop.
To support the forthcoming single release, Silicon has also announced a debut London headline date at Power Lunches on May 26th which follows two live dates with Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Silicon will release its debut single “God Emoji” on May 25th through Weird World. “God Emoji” is available on iTunes now and can also be streamed on Soundcloud here and YouTube here.
